Bagi yang ingin melanjutkan Studi S3 di Australia, berikut ini informasi beasiswa kerjasama University of Techology Sydney (UTS) dan DIKTI.
Bentuk kerjasamanya adalah 3 tahun pendanaan beasiswa dari DIKTI dan 1 tahun dari UTS. Kebetulan sejak angkatan ke-7, beasiswa luar negeri DIKTI menghapuskan perpanjangan beasiswa sehingga harus selesai 3 tahun atau selebihnya ditanggung sendiri atau ditanggung kampus pengirim. Oleh karena itu , jika kita bisa mendapatkan beasiswa ini kita bisa lebih tenang menyelesaikan studi PhD kita insya Allah.

Beasiswa S1, S2, S3 di Rusia
Pemerintah Federasi Rusia menawarkan beasiswa kuliah S-1, S-2, dan S-3 di Rusia. Berkas-berkas lamaran beasiswa akan diterima Pusat Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Kebudayaan Rusia pada 6 Februari - 8 Maret 2012.
"Pendaftar boleh memilih program studi yang dikehendaki, namun penempatan kota dan universitas ditentukan oleh Kementerian Pendidikan dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Federasi Rusia," kata Direktur Pusat Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Kebudayaan Rusia, Yury N Zozulya, Rabu (8/2/2012).
Penerima beasiswa mendapatkan gratis biaya pendidikan selama 5 tahun (S-1), dan 3 tahun (S-2 dan S-3), serta uang saku per bulan.
Penerima beasiswa S-1 dan S-2 tiba di Rusia pada September - Oktober 2012 untuk mengikuti fakultas persiapan 1 tahun untuk belajar Bahasa Rusia. Adapun penerima beasiswa S-3 tiba di Rusia pada bulan Desember 2012 - Januari 2013.

Announcement follows
The University of Sussex has been made a Doctoral Training Centre (DTC) by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC). As a result of this, applications are invited for ESRC doctoral studentships through the Sussex European Institute (SEI) for UK applicants (fees and maintenance grants) or from those from other EU states (fees only).
Applications are also invited for Sussex School of Law, Politics and Sociology (LPS) partial fee-waiver studentships for applicants from both the UK/EU and non-EU states.
SEI especially welcomes candidates wishing to conduct doctoral research in the following areas of our core research expertise:

The University of Sussex has been made a Doctoral Training Centre (DTC) by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC). As a result of this, applications are invited for ESRC doctoral studentships through the Sussex European Institute (SEI) for UK applicants (fees and maintenance grants) or from those from other EU states (fees only).
Applications are also invited for Sussex School of Law, Politics and Sociology (LPS) partial fee-waiver studentships for applicants from both the UK/EU and non-EU states.

Teaching and Guidance by renowned Scholars
Starting by summer term, 2002, a Graduate Programme in Quantitative Economics has been established at our Faculty of Economics, Business Administration and Social Sciences, together with the Faculty of Mathematics and Sciences.
The programme aims at training students for leading positions in banks and companies, as well as in the political sector, and for academic careers. It offers a full set of courses in core areas of economics and neighbouring disciplines, meeting international standards. The degree is designed to be completed in 3 years of full-time study and research.
Students are guided to their own Ph. D. research via a succession of general courses in the first semester and more specialised courses in the second semester. By the end of the first year, students should have found a distinct focus for their Ph. D. research together with two main supervisors whose research interests cover the area of the proposed dissertation project. Concentration on this project within the following two-year period and close contact to the respective supervisors should allow completing the Ph. D. within a total of three years on average. In addition to our own versed staff of senior scholars, a part of the program will be conducted by leading visiting professors.
A major asset is the link between the Department of Economics and the Kiel Institute for the World Economy, the leading institute in applied and policy-oriented economic research in Germany. A staff of some 100 active full-time researchers contributes to a stimulating academic environment. The institute holds the German National Library for Economics which is the World's largest library for economic literature with more than 2,6 million volumes. Its President, Prof. Dennis J. Snower, Ph. D., as Professor of Economic Theory plays an active part in the education of the Ph. D. students in our Graduate Programme. In addition, other staff members from the Institute may also give lectures and hold seminars, and an internship at the Institute of World Economics may be included in the first year of the program.
Language
The language of instruction is English in all courses, and, as a rule, the Ph. D. thesis will also be written in English (German students may write the thesis in their native language). Although no knowledge of German is required for participation in the programme, free German courses are also available on a voluntary basis, compatible to the schedules of the course program
Thesis
Topics of Ph. D. research may be in any area covered by the research interests of the Faculty of the Graduate Programme. The particular strengths of our Department of Economics lie in the fields ofinternational economics, financial economics, econometrics, applied microeconomics, and decision theory. The programme also emphasises interdisciplinary work through its associated faculty members from the Department of Business Administration, Department of Mathematics and Department of Theoretical Physics.

Due to general state funding of university studies in Germany, there are no tuition fees for participants in the programme. In exceptional cases, partial scholarships contributing to the living expenses may be granted, although only for a very limited number of participants. Therefore, interested applicants are encouraged also to apply to other institutions for financial support.

Application may also be accepted from graduates with degrees in fields like business administration, social sciences, mathematics, engineering, or physics. Due to general state funding of university studies in Germany, there are no tuition fees for participants of this programme. We will also take care of all necessary equipment (e.g. office space, computing facilities) for successful pursuit of the doctoral research. Beyond it, there is the possibility of funding the living expenses. The program itself, however, so far holds only limited funding facilities, available in exceptional cases.

Note, that application terms widely differ from institution to institution, and that for most grants you will have to apply well in advance.

Most of the listed foundations are German foundations, which pose certain criteria for granting their funds. These criteria may not be formally compatible with the programme so far, as none of the students in the first year is able to name a supervisor and a topic, which is required at some foundations.

As competition policy becomes increasingly relevant in both the public and private sectors, there is a great need for professionals prepared to address market regulation issues. The highly practical focus of the Competition and Market Regulation Program assures that students in the
program graduate with sound job prospects in their chosen field and an advanced understanding of the interaction between economic theory and practice.
Master Degree
Upon successful completion of the program, students will receive a Master Degree in Specialized Economic Analysis awarded jointly by the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and the Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
All Barcelona GSE master degrees have been recognized by the Catalan and Spanish Education authorithies within the framework of the Bologna Process (in Spanish, “Master Universitario o Master Oficial”).
Structure
The program is divided in 3 terms. In the fall term, students will acquire basic economic tools. In the winter term, students will study core issues in competition policy and market regulation with the help of leading specialists in each field. In the spring, students will
consider real competition policy cases and how regulation works in several specific sectors. For more information, please download the academic calendar.
Students are strongly advised to take the Math and Statistics review course and the Computer Tools course offered in September. More information is available on the MCMR courses page.
Credits
The degree requires the successful completion of 60 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) credits of graduate courses (6 credits are equivalent to a 40 hour course), some compulsory and some elective.
The students' final program must be discussed with and approved by their Master Director.
Grades
The academic performance of each student is reviewed regularly.
Attention is given to the maintenance of normal academic progress, through a combination of formal written examinations and coursework.
Core courses will award grades. Some optional courses may be evaluated on a pass/fail or pass with honors/pass/fail basis.
Campus
The Competition and Market Regulation Program is located at the Ciutadella campus at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in central Barcelona.
The campus is within walking distance of both the beach and the city's financial, cultural and governmental centers. Students can take advantage of a wide array of services and activities offered by the UPF.
